Our Faith-Filled Mission

The Water Project is a testament to how God moves long before we understand His plan. If we slow down enough, we can see how He gently places each piece exactly where it needs to be.

Months before the mission was clear, Jeff and Brooke attended a traffic control expo in Orlando, Florida. There, the founder of Wine to Water shared his powerful testimony—an unexpected moment that stayed with them but didn’t yet have a purpose. They didn’t realize it then, but God was planting a seed.

It wasn’t until their 5-year anniversary trip to the Dominican Republic that the calling became unmistakable. On their excursions, guided by Mito, they visited communities where children the same age as their own were drinking contaminated water, asking for half-full water bottles, and struggling with needs no child should face. Seeing this brokenness firsthand stirred something deep in their hearts. In that moment of compassion and heartache, they remembered the founder’s testimony from months before—and suddenly understood why God had placed it in their path.

That connection, woven together through God’s timing, became the foundation of The Water Project. Today, through our partnership with Wine to Water, we work to bring ceramic water filters and clean water solutions to towns in desperate need throughout Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

And through it all, God remains at the center. He is the one who opened the doors, linked the moments, and turned a simple trip into a calling. None of this would be possible without Him. Every step we take and every life impacted is done to glorify His name.
